Hi! I am new to this website and have made a goal to hike the 17 peaks in San Diego County that are a part of the Sierra Club's Hundred Peaks Section. Has anyone here completed this before and have any suggestions? My goal is one peak per month and if anyone is interested in joining then please email me at juneboarder@yahoo.com.

Hi, I'm new to the website too and am looking for people to hike with in the area. (None of my friends are really into...exercise!) What hiking level are you at? I'm a runner but recently got more interested in serious hiking after spending some time up in Big Sur.
Which peak are you going to start with?

Welcome and good luck!! I've been actively hiking locally for 2-3 years now, but haven't gotten too strenuous. I'd say Elfin Forest and Daley Ranch are great places and not too difficult at all for me.

Big Sur is a great place; I haven't spent much time up there except for driving through...

I was planning to hike either Stonewall or Cuyamaca Peak for the 1st... going this July 18th!!

Good Morning and Happy Fourth,

I'm actually looking for someone with hiking intrest too.
Unfortunately none of the people I know are very active orientated either. It can be a a downer for sure. If your looking for a partner I'd be happy to meet for a hike; lunch; shopping; whatever just so we can feel each other out first.

Hi,

I'm planning a hike next Saturday, 7/18, to climb Stonewall Peak. I'll know more on Monday as to when we plan to meet there. My little group is up in Vista (North County) and we can plan a carpool if you're in the area or meet at the trailhead.

If not, then please keep posting on your trail experiences

Thanks,

Joe~

Joe,
I would be interested in hiking with your group. I'm down near La Jolla so it would be best to just meet at the trailhead. Let me know the details. Also, what kind of people are in the group?
Mollie
PS-angelbunny, definitely would be nice to have more people to hike with. I wouldn't mind meeting up sometime for a hike or lunch. let me know!
